Covid-19 is spreading like wildfire to every corners of the earth and one thing to stop it is by tracking and tracing its source. There are even applications that helps to keep the data of your whereabouts so you know whether you have been to an infected area. However, in Indonesia, the ministry is currently investigating their track-and-trace application which is Indonesia Health Alert Card (eHAC) as there is a suspected security flaw that could leak personal information and health status for over 1.3 million people.
Anas Ma’ruf a health ministry official said that the government is looking into the data for a potential breach but only found that the potential flaw is in the earlier version of the application which has not been used since July this year.
